Love the concept, off-road, racing inspired cafe.
The atmosphere is lively, and the vibe is everything.
The coffee is strong. The blueberry pancake just melts in your mouth. Greek Omelet is fresh and full flavor. The portion size is huge and best when shared.
Service is quick and friendly. I'm looking forward to next time. Don't forget to stop by at the bakery next door, Torrance Bakery, for something later.
Didn’t have a good experience here, the food and coffee *looks* amazing but tastes so lackluster. The service was pushing us out the door as soon as we started eating. I asked the server a question about the strawberry matcha and she looked at me like I was the dumbest person alive. Seems like a place to churn out instagram pictures and push people in and out as quickly as possible…
The shakshouka was very flavorful, absolutely recommended. The pesto egg toast was also very good. Friendly staff. The place is upbeat and fun
Clutch and coffee is a family owned and run restaurant. They serve breakfast and lunch, multiple healthy choices as well as beverages. They have gourmet coffee and daily pastries. The place has a few tv's with monster trucks and bikes and loud rock n roll music. For us it's fine but if you're sensitive or want to hold a conversation I suggest sitting outside. It's very popular on the weekends so expect a long wait, a lot of families meet there. I have a custom order they specially make for me, we've been going since they open. Great spot.
Come for the food, stay for the service. The country Benedict with sausage is very good. Plan on a wait if going at extended peak times. This place is good, and people know it. Hot tip: jump onto the waitlist through Yelp!!! If you wait till you get there on a busy weekend, that's what they'll have you do anyways. If you haven't been there, don't forget to stop at Torrance bakery, located a few doors down, to grab something for later. These two stops will make any weekend better.
I picked this restaurant in Old Torrance for my son to take me out for X-Mas, and I'm so glad I did! Our waitress was wonderful, the food was great! I even had a Chai latte, decaf! Actually, I had two! I had the best jalapeno burger! And it's right down the street from Torrance Bakery! I'll be back!
The food is really really really really good, although the times on here is wrong it may say it’s open but it’s actually not, I’ve came up here numerous times to find it closed. & some of the servers have attitudes 😭 why I don’t know must’ve woken up on the wrong side of the bed that morning
I've been here a handful of times on different days during the morning hours. The service is pretty good. The servers and bus people hussle about taking care of the guests. During the busiest hours it can get loud and hectic in the restaurant, there's often guests waiting for tables, and parking can be a challenge, particularly on the weekends.
The food is fantastic. Everything I've had for breakfast is delicious and the portions are large. The scrambles are great but the blueberry pancakes are unbelievable. The coffee is tasty. I've yet to have lunch here.
This place is now part of my regular breakfast restaurant rotation.
